This course is designed to help you better understand the process of investing and trading and help you clarify your investing goals. Most investors have seen how the stock market has been the greatest generator of wealth in the last century. But that wealth is elusive. The market behaves with so much randomness that it is perilous to navigate. Things outside of your knowledge or control affect prices. Investors who don’t have a clear understanding of the process involved in trading and investing may have trouble reaching their goals.

The idea of investing for one’s self can be intimidating because, let’s be honest, no one likes to lose money. Yet doing nothing is even worse. Perhaps this fear is why so many investors accept poorly performing strategies that allow them to “set it and forget it.” It’s better than doing nothing, but just barely.
